I am definitely a book diva and know I good book after the first couple of pages. The four girls La'Keisha, La'Tasha, La'Tavia & La'Cienega are the best of friends but loved to live on the edge. These women had status, money, and men...married men that is. Yes, HOMEWRECKERS!La'Tavia was ready for a change but had issues of her past to deal with before she could move forward. I loved all the charcters in this novel, but my favorite was La'Keisha who was a quadruple threat yet independent, smart, and of course beautiful. The La'Bella Donnas enjoyed their lifestyle until tragedy strikes in each of their lives. This is my first time reading any works by this author who is dangerous with a pen and pad. This author has such a vivid imagination that you are immediately drawn into her characters. I could not and did not sit this book down until I read the final page. I was uncertain as to how this novel was going to end, but must admit that I was shocked yet pleased at the ending. The La'Bella Donnas would like for you to read their story.
This is a great read, makes you laugh, makes you cry, great message! I felt every word of this book. Waiting to see more from the author.
From the moment I opened this book I couldn't put it down. It was so good that I found myself up at three in the morning reading just to find out what would come next. This is just what people today need to read. It's not just a story, it's a lesson infused in the tale in such a way that not only will you learn from what you're reading but you'll appreciate it as well. From beginning to end this book is outstanding and I'd recommend it to everyone.
